UX/UI DESIGN | WEB SUPPORT
Case Study
Yukonstruct
It’s good, make it better
Our friends at Yukonstruct needed help with their website, a little of UX (user experience) here and UI (user interface) there. We brought some user experience expertise, web design and website support to solve it all. Not only did we solve some of their concerns but also added some of the Rocha design flair to it.
Creative Process
Yukonstruct was already up and running with their WordPress based site. Yet, they needed some extra support to bring it up to date and make it sing once again. Websites are wide open canvases which can bring confusion when deciding how to present information to viewers. This is where Rocha Creative’s expertise comes to play as experienced visual storytellers. Some of the solution we brought to this project were; the addition of a fun dynamic timeline for their story section, branding accent elements adorning every page of their site, re-formating of typography and colours as per Yukonstruct’s Brand guidelines and finally the resolution of malware bugging down the database.
A multiplicity of challenges
Our friends at Yukonstruct gave us the load down, a multivariate challenge. These included; technical conflicts with the database, a malware surprise on the site, a tight budget and on top of it all make it look good.
Getting Technical
After a long list of items to tackle we got to work with a nasty surprise awaiting us once we got access to the database. Malware had gotten ahold of one of the plug ins on the site, making some viewers link out to a external site. Luckily here at Rocha Creative, we can get into some codding and technical. Needless to say after a number of hours in the operation table we finally got it solved.

Making it all Better
Working on Yukonstruct’s webiste allowed us to put all of our skills on the line. At each point we challenged ourselves to produce something awesome. Every project update and request brought new challenges but we were willing and able to take them on.
We loved working with the folks at Yukonstruct and look forward to working with them in any other future projects.
